10th post

Honestly, I like so much this subject because a long time ago I didn't have English course. This because in my journalism subjects there is not. So, I think that is very necessary incorporate it because is very related with our trade and work. This could be serve for seek work elsewhere or media press.

Well now, I feel that the practice in blog or virtual platform of English idiom is very productive because we can put our capacities with other language really. Also, we can search and understand other type of information like international news or any theme that we like it.

Particularly, in my career, we use the blog platform just sometimes. Apparently, my teachers do not take this tool or they do not seem optimal to support our learning. They are accustomed to use old techniques and traditional methods like books of style manuals not update. 
 

But, I think that this subject help me to improve my control of idiom and my oral implementation and will be very useful. Also, I think that I (we) need more practice because I don't have a good pronunciation but I hope improved it.

For example, sometimes, I don't need to use subtitles for understand some TV series or films. That is great and I feel very nice.

Future Career

Oooooook. In this semester in my career, Journalism, I have two important courses; I talk about Radio and Television. I think that these areas are very determinates to take a decision about what way follow in one professional career like journalism. 

Likewise, in my last semester I had Radio too, so I thought that in this semester I could take more interest for this “major”, but apparently no was there, because in this semester this course is more boring and demanding. Really, I hoped that this area would be one of my preferences for continued the trade.  But I think that anything can change. 

Otherwise, the television subject is very interesting and very defiant because is an unknown world for me. But, lamentably my class is not very motivating because my classmates most of the time they didn’t go. So, there is not enough feedback with my teacher. The television subject is not operating as I want. So, it's not motivating.

I think that these two areas are some majors in my career. I would like to work in a newsroom or in a newspaper or magazine. And if the opportunity of work in radio or TV is appear I would like to take it because I think that is a great experience of learning. But, now I think that I don’t have the necessary experience. 

The type of job that I would like to have is related with my abilities, I think that this is about my wish of write or telling stories. But I would like to find the correct platform for that. 

SO, I don’t know specifically what are my strengths and weaknesses thinking in the future  :C

I think that I can to adapt very good in different way of work. This can be one of my powers. 

And, probably one of my weaknesses is that when I stay for a long time in something I’m bored.

New Year’s party.-

Hi everybody. Now I have to write about one New Year’s party. It can be the best or worst, mmm I thinking about what I can tell you.

Ok. I will talk about my last New Year’s party.  It was in Pichilemu beach, in the 6^th area of country.  I went with my parents and my extended family; I want to say my cousins, uncles and aunts. 

My family is very large, so that different celebrations there are lots of people and lots of food and lots of drinking.  Normally we meet at my house or in the house of my uncle Antonio. Is a holiday that we prepared with great dedication and time because many people who meet there.

The last New Year’s party we met at my house.  We were about 30 peoples celebrating in my house. I have a lot of uncles and they have at least two children every one. So there were many people in there.

The question is that first this day we celebrated in my house. We had dinner there and then went to Pichilemu. This is about 20 minutes from home.

When we arrived on Pichilemu we walked to beach and there we waited the twelve o’clock drinking champagne and watching fireworks over the sea.

After that we went to dance at Agustin Ross’s park. There every people went to said hello! Too the people wished the best omens.  My parents and my old extended family went to beach house of my uncle Antonio. In there they continued to celebrating.

Me and my cousins went to Waitara pub to 3am (probably later) for continued drinking and celebrating the party.  When we arrived to beach house, for the evening, our old family we were waiting with seafood for the hangover. 

The almost time my New Year’s parties are more or less well.  And I enjoyed it. 

About some ecological practices.

In this post I will write about practices and habits eco friendly's that I adopted. 

First, I think that now there are a lot sites where the people can obtain information about how doing better practices environmentally. I’m talking about web sites like: www.permacultura.cl, www.ecologiaverde.com o www.elmanzano.com. Let alone of Greenpeace.

Personally, in the last year I adopted some habits with which I intend to do a contribution for the world. Humble contribution, but at less is something. With my floor mate we take all the glass bottles that we occupied in the revels, as the bottles of beer or wine and we took them to the trash glass. 

Too, we take all plastic bags and wraps and we insert them inside of a plastic bottle. With that we obtain in a short time a lot of bag there until the bottles will be very strong, like a brick. The name of this creation is eco-brick because these bottles are occupied in eco-building, for example in ecologic domo or greenhouses.  I think that this is a new form of recycle. Is friendly and is easy. 

Habitually I can’t use my bike in Santiago because I couldn’t have brought with me my bike. My bike is in my house, in the field. (And probably has a flat tire).  So, in the city I prefer walk for parks or sidewalk when I need to go somewhere. So, I can saving my money and enjoy of green areas of the city. 

But, really I would doing more eco-practices but almost time I don't have time to implement it. Sometimes the desire is not enough and you have to make an effort extra. I think that I have done nothing conscious to reduce my carbon footprint. But I want to think that my carbon footprint is not very big.

I have tried to bring an eco-life because I grew up in the field and I know the importance of the nature. We need to keep our natural resources and have a better quality life.   

Video Game.

HI.

I will talk about one of my favorite video games. The name is Test Drive and is related with races cars. Also, the gamer has to destroy the other cars of race and with the money buy new cars.

I like so much because I really love the games of speed and driving like V-Rally, Need for Speed or Bike Beach. But, I have special esteem for Test Drive because I knew the game when I was a little child. My father gives me one CD with lots games and there was Test Drive. He bought this (falsified) CD in Peru.

Honestly, this is a simple video game, at least the version that I’m talking (I think that is the 6^th version) because doesn’t have a good graphic or special effects. But, my father thought that this version was the last, but not. 

Recently, I have not played the game but some years ago I was very addicted to play them despite of the poor version. When I played I could complete the game all time. I was really good.  

Now, I would like find the last version for play again. I will search in internet.
